from the airport a taxi from the airport should cost
approximately 25. approximate driving time to hotel
is 20 minutes and distance is 10 kilometers. several
busses go to the city centre. recommended are the
airlink 747 and 748 /adult single 6.00/ return
10.00 / child single 3.00/ return 5.00/ airlink
tickets can be bought in the airport at the bus and
rail information desk/ the dublin tourism information
desk/ or on the bus. /see rambler tickets at getting
around/ regular busses 41 and 41b /single aprox.
2.00/ direction city centre are reasonably direct but
take longer due to more stops/ and the stop for the
hotel is around an eight minute walk away. other
busses go to the city centre/ but these may take
much longer due to their routes and are not advisable.
dublin airport has no rail services. by rail/dart/
luas connolly station is located directly opposite
the hotel. it serves amongst other connections with
sligo/ belfast and wexford/rosslare. heuston
station is the second train station for the rest of
ireland and has direct connections with connolly
station by luas/ bus/ or taxi. |
